Reliable Ferry Serive to Shark Island

Would be good if there was a reliable service on Weekends so that we could visit the island.
Attempted to visit today with visitors who had driven all the way in from Blue Mountains only to find out at circular quay that Matilda were not running services today Saturday 27 Feb. as they had hired out their ferries.
I'm sure the public would appreciate a reliable service to the harbour islands.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused to you and your visitors. A 7 day a week service to Fort Denison and Shark Island is currently available from Circular Quay on the Harbour Rocket operated by Matilda Cruises as you rightly state. Unfortunately on Saturday 27th February 2010 Shark Island was booked exclusively for a wedding. We are currently negotiating with Matilda Cruises to offer Clark Island for visitors as an alternative when Shark Island is booked. Also we will ensure the staff at Matilda Cruises are delivering the correct message to visitors about this situation. Thank you for your comments.
